Nemo pledge to support Wales Air Ambulance

Wales Air Ambulance has been elected by Nemo Personal Finance as its nominated charity for the coming year, with the aim of raising much-needed funds in aid of the Welsh charity.

Throughout the coming year, Nemo staff plan to organise a variety of fundraising activities in aid of the lifesaving service. Launched on St David’s Day 2001, Wales Air Ambulance is an all Wales charity providing a vital service through emergency air cover for those who face life-threatening illness or injuries. The registered charity is reliant on public donations to operate its three helicopters based in South, Mid and North Wales. This is and important year for the air ambulance charity, as they have to raise over £5 million to upgrade and support three new helicopters in line with legislation.
